David Hasselhoff leaving 'America's Got Talent' for reality TV series

david-hasselhoff-daughters.jpg David Hasselhoff is leaving "America's Got Talent" to cultivate other talent -- talent of his progeny in a half-hour reality series on A&E.

The as-yet-unnamed series, slated for 2010, will be ten half-hour episodes that take a behind-the-scenes look into the life of Hasselhoff.

It will focus on the Hoff's entertainment endeavors, such as the role of a single dad trying to help his teenage daughters' break into the music business.

"It's the dream of every parent to be able to help their children succeed," said Hasselhoff in the press release from A&E. "I told the girls that I would help them open the door when they are ready, but they would have to walk through it on their own. This is their time and I am excited to be a part of it by partnering with A&E and FremantleMedia on this new series."

What could this series be called...

  • "Hasselhoff Knows Best"

  • "Hoff's the Boss"

  • "My Two Daughters"

  • "Hoff Improvement"

  • "Hoffy Days"

We like "Hoff's the Boss" and "Hoff Improvement" the best.
