Those were rookie part-time NASCAR driver Trevor Bayne's odds going into the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 20. Clearly, the odds didn't have any part in Sunday's race. Bayne won the 53rd running thanks to two caution flags late in the race.

Bayne, who turned 20 on Saturday, used a push from Carl Edwards and Bobby Labonte and withstood a late charge from Tony Stewart to win. Edwards came in second and David Gilliland in third, which helped Ford sweep the top three spots. Labonte came in fourth and Kurt Busch finished in fifth.

Bayne is the race's youngest winner ever and it was only his second career Cup start. The race featured a record 74 lead changes among 23 drivers. It also set a record for the most cautions: 16.
