It's a good thing when celebrities seek help for their problems, so we're happy that Demi Moore has checked herself into a facility for "exhaustion." But unfortunately, that means the actress has had to drop out of her next project, "Lovelace," Entertainment Weekly reports.
The film, a biopic of porn star Linda Lovelace was to feature Moore as women's rights activist Gloria Steinem. Amanda Seyfried is playing the titular adult film actress, while Debi Mazar and Adam Brody are playing her "Deep Throat" costars.
Also co-starring in the film are Peter Sarsgaard, Eric Roberts, Sharon Stone, Juno Temple, Wes Bentley, Hank Azaria, Robert Patrick, Bobby Cannavale and Chris Noth. According to EW, the film began shooting in December. It's directed by Rob Epstein and Jerry Friedman.
After Moore was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 23, her rep announced that she would check into a facility to treat her exhaustion. "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health," her rep says. "She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."
