Demi Moore: Kirstie Alley, friends say she'll work it out

Kirstie Alley.jpg"Dancing With the Stars" alum Kirstie Alley thinks everything will be rosy for her friend Demi Moore, who is going through a very public divorce from Ashton Kutcher. She was recently hospitalized after having convulsions, post substance-smoking. Alley believes it will all pass. tells People, "Demi is a smart, insightful girl and she will work through it," Alley said. "I have no doubts. I love Demi. She'll work it out."

She was in New York for "DWTS" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy's Dance With Me Studios' Ballroom Birthday Bash. He had some kind words for Moore as well. "It's sad that a lot of stuff is public knowledge," he says. "With situations like this, you could deal without everybody knowing about it. From what I know of her and from people who know her say, she's an amazing, strong woman and I hope she'll be all right."

Sheri Shephard from "The View" who was also at the event said that she's sending Moore her prayers. "I feel bad for Demi. She's a survivor and I know she will get back up and get through this. I hope she and Ashton get back together as I hope Heidi and Seal get back together. I don't like to hear about breakups and I'm really rooting for all of them."

Shephard recently remarried after a divorce from husband Jeff Tarpley in 2010, often speaking publicly about it on her show. Alley went through two divorces, one from Parker Stevenson in 1997 and one from Robert Alley in 1977.
