The serial killer drama's final offering became the premium channel's biggest episode ever for an original series.

"Remember the Monsters" drew 2.8 million viewers for its initial airing, which was up both from the Season 7 finale and the Season 8 premiere, and earned 3.3 million viewers total on the night (after a repeat broadcast).

Season 8 of "Dexter" is on pace to be the highest-rated season for the series, as it has been averaging 6.4 million viewers each week across all platforms, which is up an average of 300,000 viewers over Season 7.
