diamond-divers.jpgEven if you know absolutely nothing about marine diamond mining -- and you likely don't, because why would you -- you're going to want to check out Spike TV's gripping new reality series "Diamond Divers," about a crew of six American men who hunt for treasure off the South African coast.

Don't believe us? Check out Zap2it's exclusive sneak peek from the series' first season, which shows the seasoned sailors with white knuckles, gripping to their bunks on their creaky wooden boat, as an extremely rough sea tosses them back and forth. As you can see, they all think they're about to die.

As they try not to fall out of their bunks, one crew member notes, "It feels like the boat's coming apart."

"I'd say we were less than half a chance -- less than halfway likely to get home," says another. "Make peace with your Lord and pray to God you get to the dock."

Watch the clip below, then tune in for the premiere on Wednesday, June 20 at 10 p.m. on Spike TV. Aside from terrifying, life-threatening storms, the sailors and divers will also face fun things like 50-60 foot waves, sharks, poachers and equipment failure.
