"Game of Thrones" star Natalie Dormer has a shocking new look on the 2014 Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet. The actress arrived with half of her head shaved, to the surprise of pretty much everyone.
Don't expect her to appear like that on the HBO series, though. The trailer for Season 4 of the series features scenes from her character's wedding to King Joffrey ( Jack Gleeson) and she has a full head of hair. You can see an image of that below:
Instead, this is likely due to her role in "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2." In the final two "Hunger Games" installments, Dormer plays Cressida, a rebel from the Capitol who works with Katniss Everdeen ( Jennifer Lawrence) and President Coin ( Julianne Moore). Residents of the Capitol aren't exactly known for their toned-down looks, so having half her head shaved seems totally acceptable for her character.
"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" is in theaters November 21.
