Did Kim Kardashian reveal baby's gender on 'The Tonight Show'?Add to Favorites | The Tonight Show With Jay Leno
After introducing Kardashian as "one of the most beautiful and popular reality stars in the world" (OK, then), Leno dove right into a discussion about baby names. Kardashian denied the rumors that boyfriend Kanye West wants to name the child North (as in "North West"), but she did say she likes the name Easton (as in "East [and] West").
That immediately got Leno's attention. "Easton would be a boy's name, correct?" he pressed.
Kardashian fumbled for her words a bit but quickly recovered: "Boys name are good for girls. I think it's cute. You never know."
She also noted that that "probably" wouldn't be the name, and since she's already mentioning it during a talk show you can bet it's out of the running. So maybe it means nothing at all?
Among the other details Kardashian dropped during the interview (which was intended to promote her supporting role in "Tyler Perry's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor"):
The pregnancy was unexpected: "It was a pleasant surprise. Yeah... So, it wasn't really planned."
When she found out she was pregnant she told her sister Kourtney first and then her mom, Kris, but she waited to tell Khloe: "I was a little nervous to tell Khloe. Because I know she really really wants a baby. So I felt like I'm gonna need some moral support to tell her." But Kim claims Khloe was nothing but happy and supportive as soon as she found out: "She got mad I was nervous to tell her."
Don't call Kris Jenner to book an appearance for the baby (at least not yet): "My momager will not be handling anything for the baby because the baby is hopefully not gonna do anything to be in the business or have a show or anything like that."
Her first pregnancy craving was for In-N-Out: "I don't like junk food any more, I don't like candy, can't eat chocolate, don't like ice cream, all the things I would eat regularly. ... I was craving In-N-Out! When I was in line you could smell the smell of burgers and fries so strong that I almost got out of the drive-thru and knocked on the window and was like Give me someone's fries now, I'm starving! I need to eat In-N-Out right now! I was gonna kill someone for that food."
Her thoughts on media reports about her weight: "I think it's a little bully-ish to call a pregnant woman fat... I've always been curvy, I've always embraced my curves and I love them. Now there's just more to love right now. I have the rest of my life to be skinny and lose weight. I obviously want to be healthy for the baby and myself so I'm not overdoing it. But it's kinda mean, the comments I see."
