DJ Megatron, host of BET's '106th and Park,' found shot to death in New York

dj-megantron-getty.jpg DJ Megatron, a radio and TV personality who hosted BET's "106th and Park," was found shot outside his Staten Island home around 2 a.m. ET Sunday (March 27), reports the AP. His manager says Megatron was heading to a store nearby.

DJ Megantron was born Corey McGriff. Before coming to BET, he has worked for hip-hop and R&B  stations in New York City, Boston and Philadelphia. He has also appeared in movies "State Property 2," "Blood of a Champion" and "Killa Season."

Police say he was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and that no arrests have been made at this time. DJ Megatron was 32 years old.
