'Django Unchained' sneak peek: Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio square off

django-unchained-1-columbia.jpgWhile it's still seven months away from being released, it's not too early to get in the mood for the next Quentin Tarantino movie "Django Unchained."

In production stills released by the studio, we see what Jamie Foxx endures as a slave-turned-bounty hunter who is looking to free his wife ( Kerry Washington) from a plantation owner played by Leonardo DiCaprio. The film also stars Samuel L. Jackson, Christoph Waltz and Don Johnson.

"Django Unchained" is Tarantino's first movie since the 2009 picture "Inglourious Basterds." That film went on to be nominated for eight Oscars, winning one for Waltz in the Best Supporting Actor category.

The movie is slated for a Dec. 25 release. Here are some more pictures.
