With a new Doctor, comes a new home for "Doctor Who" comics. BBC Worldwide has announced that Titan Comics is acquiring the comic book license for "Doctor Who."

In a press release from the two companies, they reveal that Titan will publish stories starring the 10th ( David Tennant) and 11th ( Matt Smith) Doctors, as well as an upcoming series starring the 12th Doctor ( Peter Capaldi).

No creative teams or release dates have been announced for the comics, but new issues will be released later in 2014. Stories about the 12th Doctor will debut after Season 8 of "Doctor Who" premieres. Prior to Titan, the comic book license was held by IDW Publishing, who have been releasing comics from the franchise since 2008.
