The scene where the Doctor and Rose were separated in the "Doctor Who" Series 2 finale "Doomsday" before he could tell her he loved her is a heartbreaking moment no matter how many times a Whovian watches it. Though that separation was later resolved in Series 4 (spoilers!), it seems fitting that "Doomsday" get the "How It Should Have Ended" treatment seven years later.

Except in our opinion, this version of how it should have ended isn't much more satisfying than the original version. At least this one includes a surprise appearance from River Song (spoilers!) and the Doctor finally vocalizing his love of Rose, but still, the Series 4 payoff remains the same..

It won't be long now before the Doctor and Rose are together once again, as David Tennant and Billie Piper are confirmed to appear in the upcoming 50th Anniversary special. Here's hoping that time has been kind to the fan-favorite couple.
