'Doctor Who' Season 6 sets BBC America ratings record
Ratings have been on the rise at BBC America, thanks in large part to sci-fi offerings like "Who" and "Torchwood: Children of Earth." The April 23 episode bested the previous BBC record, held by the Season 5 "Who" premiere, by 71,000 viewers. The telecast also earned a .92 in the adults 25-54 demographic according to Nielsen.
Currently sitting as the top-selling TV series on U.S. iTunes, the dizzyingly good new season of "Doctor Who" also brought in record traffic for BBC America's website and YouTube content.
