The BBC has revealed another guest star coming to Season 8 of "Doctor Who." English actor Ben Miller will appear in the new Season, playing a villain in one of the episodes written by "Sherlock" co-showrunner Mark Gatiss.

"Mark Gatiss has written us a storming villain for his new episode, and with Capaldi in the TARDIS, we knew we needed somebody special to send everybody behind the sofa," executive producer Steven Moffat says in a release. "And quite frankly, it's about time Ben Miller was in 'Doctor Who'!"

Miller adds, "As a committed Whovian, I cannot believe my luck in joining the Twelfth Doctor for one of his inaugural adventures. My only worry is that they'll make me leave the set when I'm not filming." He joins the already announced Tom Riley and Keeley Hawes, who appear as guest stars in the upcoming season.

"Doctor Who" Season 8 premieres later in the year.
