Mark Gatiss will be returning to "Doctor Who" once again to work with his "Sherlock" co-creator Steven Moffat. Gatiss will be writing two episodes of Season 8, the first outing for new Doctor Peter Capaldi.
The news comes from the Radio Times, reporting on comments made by Gatiss during a promotional tour for BBC Worldwide. He didn't give any details about what the episodes will involve, but chances are the Doctor's home world of Gallifrey will not be the setting. "Every time you go back to Gallifrey, it starts to make the Time Lords a bit too domesticated," he says before later adding, "I don't know if I would want to do [an episode set on Gallifrey]."
It's also not clear where in the season the episodes written by Gatiss will air. "Doctor Who" Season 8 is currently filming and is expected to premiere later in the year.
