"Doctor Who" fans that visit Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights are in for a special treat when they walk through the "An American Werewolf in London" maze. The haunted house follow's the movie's narrative and as you get close to the end, there's a very familiar blue police box sitting in the road, next to a crashed double-decker bus.
That's right, the TARDIS makes an appearance at Halloween Horror Nights. What better way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Doctor Who"?
Creative Director Michael Aiello says the reason for the inclusion was simple. "We had that in our warehouse forever and we needed to fill a space," he explains. The maze is set in London, so it's not too big of a stretch. Does this mean "An American Werewolf in London" takes place in the "Doctor Who" universe, though? Ponder that for a while.
You can visit the TARDIS yourself at Orlando Universal Resort's Halloween Horror Nights, which runs through November 2.
