Does Selena Gomez's new song feature sappy Justin Bieber voicemail?
The will-they-won't-they, are-they-or-aren't-they romantic saga of teen pop stars Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez continues ... but this time, Gomez is shedding some light on their relationship that is raising a lot of eyebrows.
Gomez just released her new single "Love Will Remember," and while the entire song is beautifully written with a catchy melody, it's actually the first 30 seconds that is all anyone can talk about.
The intro to her breakup ballad -- which obviously is all about the Biebs -- features a sappy, romantic voicemail from a young male that sounds an awful lot like her uber-famous ex. Here's the full transcript of voicemail:
"Hey babe, it's me. I just wanted to call to tell you that I love you so so so so much. Just wanted to let you know that you are my princess, you are worthy of all of the love in the world. You are the love of my life."
Sweet, right (in a gross, young-love way)? But while many are attributing the puppy-love voicemail to the real Bieber, it's hard to believe this is a legitimate recording of his voice. For one thing, there's no way he'd ever give permission for Gomez to release something so personal, right? Especially if they truly are broken up ... for now, at least. In any case, the voicemail sounds a little too different from Bieber's famous voice, so we're going to remain skeptical that it's actually him -- maybe it's another male reading a transcript of a real voicemail Bieber left for Gomez back in the days of their romance?

Do you think Gomez really used an actual voicemail left by Bieber, or is it just an artful imitation for the song?
