Dolores Hope, Bob Hope's widow, dead at 102
Dolores was a performer in her own right, singing professionally on the New York night club circuit, when she met Hope in 1933. Born Dolores DeFina, she had taken on the stage name of Dolores Reade. According to People, on the night they met, Hope said, "I'm going to marry her."
Dolores gave up her career to raise the couple's four children together: Linda, Tony, Kelly and Nora. She often joined her husband on-stage entertaining the troops at USO events and was involved in several charitable causes.
