Donald Trump is threatening to sue someone else. The "Celebrity Apprentice" star has already filed a lawsuit against comedian Bill Maher after he jokingly offered Donald $5 million for charity, provided Trump could produce proof that he wasn't the "spawn of his mother having sex with an orangutan." Maher didn't pay up when Trump released his birth certificate, leaving Donald upset.
Now Trump's attorney, Alan Garten, has fired off a letter to Angelo Carusone, over an online petition, according to THR. The petition, called "Dump Trump," is gathering signatures to convince Macy's to drop Trump as a spokesman, and get rid of his clothing line.
The letter threatens to seek damages from Carusone of "not less than $25 million." Garten claims that Carusone is intentionally disrupting a "long-standing business relationship," calling his effort "malicious." Carusone won't end the campaign, calling the legal action "bullying." He says, "I would hope that Macy's would recognize now that the things we've been saying about Donald Trump are in fact accurate, and they are cause for concern."
When Garten found out that Carusone went public with the letter, he was surprised, saying, "The guy's desperate for media attention -- the guy's a loser."
Trump also recently threatened to sue rapper Mac Miller over royalties for a YouTube video. The video, for the song "Donald Trump," received enough views for Trump to make legal threats to Miller over Twitter, while insulting his haircut.
