Drake: I treated Rihanna with 'respect' and Chris Brown is a bad rapper
Chris Brown and Rihanna might have reunited romantically, but Drake still maintains that he has the high moral ground in their love triangle. During a recent radio interview, the subject of Brown set Drake off.
"Don't ask me s**t about that man when I come up there. Leave that man alone. Stop preying on his insecurities," Drake said on East Village Radio's "Keep It Thoro" show, via The New York Daily News. "His insecurities are the fact that I make better music than him. I'm more poppin' than him."
He didn't stop there, though. Drake also mentioned Rihanna, who he had been in a relationship with following her physical abuse from Brown and who reportedly was the cause of his club brawl with Brown in June 2012.
"At one point in life, the woman that he loves fell into my lap," Drake said. "I did what a real n***a would do and treated her with respect. She's not up there talking down on me."
He continued, "I don't want to hear that man rap. Nobody wants to hear me rap against him. I really do this s**t. Let him put out that, whatever, 'Project X' or whatever he's working on and I'm going to put out that real s-t for the people. ... No good can come out of that situation."
Brown's only response? "Lol." Guess all those anger management classes have served him well.
