Drew Barrymore, Justin Long in 'Going the Distance' trailer

going-the-distance-drew-barrymore-video-320.jpg Drew Barrymore and Justin Long are giving it another go, not just in real life, but on the big screen.

The on-off dating actors who co-starred in "He's Just Not That Into You" play love interests in "Going the Distance," a romantic comedy that opens in theaters on Friday, Aug. 27.

In the newly released trailer, we see Garrett (Long) and Erin (Barrymore) just starting to hit it off. But as Garrett's realizing just how into her (heh) he is, he has to take a job on the other side of the country.

Actors meeting on the set and falling for each other is nothing new, but their on-screen chemistry is never guaranteed. This comedy looks pretty innocuous and sweet -- nothing too offensive, but then again, it's Rated R. Maybe it has to do with the sexual humor that's teased in the film. Hopefully that's the upper limit of sex jokes with Jim Gaffigan though.

Check out the fun. Oh, and we give major props to the trailer editor who decided NOT to use Cake's song "The Distance" in the background.

After all the summer blockbusters are done, will you be in the mood for "Going the Distance"?
