A big part of the holiday season tends to be lots of food. So much food that at the end of the meal you think, "I'll never do this again." You will though, so don't worry. If you're looking for some new things to try in this kitchen this year, the
crew has your back.
The Robertson clan stopped by
"Good Morning America"
to cook up some of their favorite dishes, from the "Miss Kay's Duck Commander Kitchen" cookbook.
Miss Kay gave a quick tutorial on her traditional duck and stuffing, but the fun happened when
Willie Robertson made up a batch of his "armadillo eggs."
There's no actual armadillo in the recipe, but there's plenty of sausage, bacon, cream cheese and butter, so it's very healthy. The rest of the Robertsons were there to make banana pudding, crazy bread and cranberry salad, with quite a bit more butter put to use.
Adding these recipes to your dinner table will surely make things interesting, but not remotely healthy.
