'Duck Dynasty's' Willie Robertson on 'Billy the Exterminator' and uncut beards
Willie Robertson: We came up with the idea for them to exterminate our duck blind. They got all concerned about the snakes, but they forgot about the wasps. Ricky showed up, walked face first into it. We were laughing, but he's allergic to that. Billy was freaking out, and they had to leave and go to the hospital. It's funny, when I told the people at A&E, they didn't realize it was us.
Zap2it: What do you like best about running your duck-call business?
Willie Robertson: I always say, I get to live out a man's fantasy. We don't cut our hair; we don't cut our beards; we get to hunt every day we want to hunt. We're in the hunting business. For a lot of guys in our neck of the woods, it's pretty much the ultimate business, to do what we do.
Zap2it: What do you hope people take away from your show?
Willie Robertson: A&E was open to this show having a positive message. No matter how much we argue, we have a family prayer. That was the initial idea, to be positive. A&E encouraged it. I think we've seen enough train-wreck families out there, it'd be nice to see one that, at the end of the day, we come back and we're family.
"Duck Dynasty" airs Wednesdays on A&E.
