DVR ratings: 'Once Upon a Time' gets a good boost, 'Man Up!' not so much

once-upon-a-time-dvr.jpgThe same-day ratings for ABC's new drama "Once Upon a Time" have been remarkably consistent over its first three weeks on the air. (ABC has already rewarded "Once" with a full-season pickup). The first DVR numbers for the series show that people are finding it via delayed viewing as well.

Nielsen's Live +7 ratings for the week of Oct. 17-23 have the "Once Upon a Time" series premiere gaining an additional 2.54 million viewers (to 15.48 million) and 1.2 ratings points among adults 18-49 (to 5.2). Both numbers put it in the Top 15 for the week.

ABC's other series premiere that week, "Man Up!," didn't fare as well with DVR users. It gained fewer than a million viewers (going from 7.78 million to 8.61 million) and just three-tenths of a point (2.4 to 2.7) in the 18-49 demographic. "Rules of Engagement's" season premiere fared a little better for CBS, adding 1.37 million viewers (11.45 million to 12.82 million) and 0.7 in the demo (3.6 to 4.3).
