Looks like Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, has his next project all lined up. The wrestler turned actor has confirmed he will star in the movie remake of the 1980s show "The Fall Guy."
Johnson tweeted his excitement about the project, writing, "The unknown stuntman who moonlights as a bounty hunter ... Fired up to play the role. Cool, bad a** & fun." He will be directed by McG, who last helmed "This Means War" and "Three Days to Kill," which will hit theaters in 2014.
Interestingly, the casting puts Dwayne back in business with WWE, as the wrestling company's film arm is partially financing the movie, while WWE Studios president Michael Luisi is signed on as a producer. Johnson last appeared in WWE as a wrestler at April's "Wrestlemania 29," in which he suffered more than one injury.
