Dylan McDermott takes 'Hostages' and more pilot casting news
"Hostages" is a thriller about a surgeon (Collette) who's chosen to operate on the president of the United States and gets caught up in a conspiracy when her family is taken hostage. McDermott will play an FBI agent who has a central role in the conspiracy.
If it's picked up, "Hostages" will be McDermott's first broadcast-network role in five years (ABC's "Big Shots" was the last one). He most recently starred on FX's "American Horror Story."
