Eazy-E and Ol' Dirty Bastard to appear at festival as holograms

It's being reported that "virtual" versions of Eazy-E and Ol' Dirty Bastard will perform at the Rock the Bells hip-hop festival for its 10th anniversary.

AllHipHop.com broke the news, which has now been confirmed on the Rock the Bells website. Eazy-E's hologram will perform with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, while O.D.B. will perform with surviving members of the Wu Tang Clan. Family members are said to have signed off on the hologram idea.

Unsurprisingly it was the 2012 Tupac hologram that inspired this idea. While he was alive, Ol' Dirty Bastard performed at Rock the Bells once, while Eazy-E never did. The Rock the Bells festival takes place in four locations: San Bernardino, Calif,, Mountain View, Calif., Washington D.C. and Rutherford, N.J. Eazy-E died in 1995 due to complications with AIDS, while O.D.B. passed away in 2004 from a drug overdose.
