elisabeth-hasselbeck-rosie-odonnell-the-view-anger.jpgElisabeth Hasselbeck just can't seem to let it go. The "Fox and Friends" co-host took time out of her vacation today (July 9) to call into her program to voice her disgust at the reported possibility of her former "The View" co-host Rosie O'Donnell returning to the program for its 18th season.

"What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?" Hasselbeck asked co-hosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. "I know Rosie very well. We worked quite closely. Talk about not securing the border! Here comes to 'The View' the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network, and really in the face of a person who stood by her and had civilized debates for the time that she was there."

The conservative Hasselbeck and outspoken comedian clashed constantly over political topics when they worked together in 2006-07.

Hasselbeck goes on to say she is "not surprised" at O'Donnell's possible return since the news of the departure of Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd, but she does offer her former sparring partner a bit of advice on working with fellow comedian and remaining co-host Whoopi Goldberg. "I don't think it would be wise for Rosie O'Donnell to challenge Whoopi Goldberg on anything," she says. "I really don't."
