Lindsay Lohan visited Ellen DeGeneres on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in an interview that will air Monday, March 31. Two clips from the sit down have been released, and viewers might be surprised by how not-funny the interview actually is.
As DeGeneres points out to Lohan, the former child star has been on her show seven times. But this time is different than every one that came before in that DeGeneres is done pulling punches.
When she asks Lohan if she's on Tinder, it's not for a laugh but to see if Lohan finds herself emotionally stable enough to search for a relationship. When she congratulates Lohan on going to exercise classes three times a week, it's not to be funny but because she's proud that Lohan has that type of self-motivation these days.
Honestly, it's interviews like these that remind everyone why DeGeneres is such a good talk show host. She brings up Lohan's OWN docu-series, her stints in rehab and why Lohan is doing so much better in New York City than LA, and Lohan (seemingly) answers her honestly and with no sense of protecting her own hide. Here's hoping that the new movie and app Lohan are working on give her the success and sense of purpose she seems to be looking for.
