Elton John forced to cancel three Las Vegas shows
The "Candle in the Wind" singer was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on Wednesday (May 23). It was here he that was treated for what's being called a "serious respiratory infection."
The BBC is reporting that John, 65, will be taking antibiotics to help him mend. Assuming all goes well, he will resume the 11 remaining "Million Dollar Piano" shows at Caesars Palace in October.
This isn't the first time John has been forced to scrap his Vegas shows this year. In February, a bout of food poisoning caused him to cancel two concerts.
