Enrique Iglesias reportedly backs out of Britney Spears' summer tour. That was fast.
Shortly (we're talking a matter of hours) after Britney Spears' big "Good Morning America" announcement that she and Enrique Iglesias would be hitting the road together on tour, the "Tonight (I'm Lovin' You)" singer has reportedly pulled out.
Billboard reports that Iglesias was expected to be more than just an opening act, being called upon to carry full production on the tour. We believe that Spears is still expected to continue on with the shows, set to begin June 17 in Sacramento, CA.
No word yet from Team Iglesias, who is currently on tour in Europe, or Team Spears on the situation.
Interestingly enough, the announcement on Spears' official website makes no mention of Iglesias at all. What does it all mean?! Did April Fools Day come early?
