ESPN has been teasing the third annual Body Issue this week. The 27 athletes who will be featured in the buff for the issue have been revealed, and People has previewed a picture of the U.S. women's volleyball team (above).

The athletes are as follows:

• Rob Gronkowski (NFL)
• Abby Wambach (soccer)
• Tyson Chandler (NBA)
• Candace Parker (WNBA)
• Maurice Jones-Drew (NFL)

• Brad Richards (NHL)
• Maya Gabiera (surfing)
• Ronda Rousey (MMA)
• Mike Smith (jockey)
• Tim Morehouse (fencing)

USA Volleyball Team:
• Destinee Hooker
• Stacy Sykora
• Alisha Glass
• Cynthia Barboza
• Megan Hodge
• Nellie Spicer
• Heather Bown

As for why they want to be featured in the spread, the athletes say it's to put their bodies on display and show confidence.

Tyson Chandler: "I wanted to allow people to look at my body and see why I'm able to do the things I do on the court. Also, it's a very artistic shoot, and seeing that in past issues made me want to do it."

Abby Wambach: "I'm a confident human being, but my body does not bring my confidence -- it's my heart and my head. Confidence is the most important factor about your body, whether you've got five pounds to lose or 100. If you have the confidence inside, that will exude on the outside, regardless of what your body looks like."

Candace Parker: "I thought it would be fun and a great opportunity -- especially since last time I was on the cover, I was pregnant. It's nice to see the body transform. I hope I can send a message that if you work hard, you can come back just as good as before."

The issue hits newsstands on July 13, but the pictures will be revealed online July 11.
