Eva Longoria co-chair of President Obama's re-election campaign
Chief amongst them is "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria, who has been a vocal supporter of the President in the past. Her appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is below, wherein Longoria says:
"It's a special privilege to meet our Commander in Chief. I'm a big Obama supporter no matter what he's been through, he's been beaten up the past couple years ... I'm a big advocate for Latino issues, he's been a big listener and he's done a lot of coalitions and roundtables regarding what we want changed ... he keeps getting beat up lately because here's such an extremist movement happening and it's very dangerous because it's not the character of America ... he's been governing in like a state of emergency since he took office."
Also among the famous faces are actor Kal Penn, who left Hollywood for awhile to work in the Obama White House after the 2008 election, and comedian Penn Jillette. Among the non-celebrities there are Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin, Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee and two former White House chiefs of staff, Bill Daley and Rahm Emanuel.
