Eva Longoria graduates with a Master's in Chicano Studies
Actress Eva Longoria had a big reason to celebrate Wednesday (May 22) -- she earned her Master's degree in Chicano Studies from California State University Northridge.
" Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my Master's degree in Chicano Studies! You're never too old or too busy to continue your education!," the 38-year-old tweets.
Longoria told E! News two weeks ago that she was in the home stretch of earning her degree. "Working on my thesis now, hopefully I'll finish in time," laughs Eva.
From the looks of it, she did finish on time. TMZ reports that her thesis was titled, "Success STEMS From Diversity: The Value of Latinas in STEM Careers," ("STEMS" standing for science, technology, engineering and math).
But we didn't need a Master's to know Longoria isn't just a pretty face. In 2012, she was named one of 35 co-chairs for President Obama's re-election campaign.
