Evan Rachel Wood: New hair and new baby with Jamie Bell on 'Live with Kelly and Michael'
In addition to the obvious hairstyle, host Kelly Ripa was eager to know how Wood had managed to get in such good shape only a few months after giving birth. Wood mostly credited exercise during the pregnancy : "I walked every day, at least three to five miles ... I ate really healthy and I did yoga."
Not only did Wood lead an enviably healthy lifestyle during the pregnancy, she had a natural birth at home -- a choice she credits to a documentary from Rikki Lake. "I honestly thought home birth was probably illegal until I saw that," Wood said.
Of course, Wood had to talk about her upcoming movie, "Charlie Countryman." She plays a Rumanian cellist named Gabby opposite Shia LaBeouf in this thriller. Wood didn't give away much about the plot, although the actress had one comment after seeing a clip in which she made an escape down an escalator. "My banister-sliding skills finally came in handy," Wood exclaimed.
