'Extreme Cheapskates' Season 2 sneak peek: Electricity at night

extreme-cheapskates-electricity-premiere.jpgThe latest batch of people profiled on the new season of TLC's "Extreme Cheapskates" take money saving to even kookier extremes than before. Season 2, which premieres Wednesday (Oct. 30) at 9 p.m. ET/PT, introduces us to Torski, who annoys her family with her favorite penny-pinching trick.

In Zap2it's exclusive sneak peek at the episode, Torski's husband explains, "What most mothers in the home do during the day hours, Torski chooses to do at night."

Because most energy providers cut rates late at night -- between around midnight to 5 a.m., Torski explains -- she chooses to do most of her household chores then. That includes cooking dinner, doing laundry, and yes, even vacuuming.

"I wake up sometimes out of a deep sleep thinking that there's a burglar in the home," her husband opines.
