Fake 'New Moon' Dakota Fanning poster resurrected
No, Perez Hilton, that is NOT the new official poster for "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" featuring Dakota Fanning.
In a post titled "Is This Real?," the gossip blogger questioned the authenticity of a poster of Fanning as her "New Moon" character, the creepy and cruel vampire Jane.
Perez, not only is it fake, it's really old. The poster was created using a hooded picture of Fanning from a Gap ad. See below:
A pretty darn good job, eh? "Twilight" fans aren't only loyal and passionate, they're techno-savvy. A few other websites out there were also fooled, but at least Celebuzz took their post down.
With the slew of "New Moon" (in theaters Nov. 20) set visit reports coming out lately, especially those focusing on the Volturi vampires, official photos to illustrate these stories have been scarce. Therefore, let's break out the fan Photoshop creations!

The good thing is that, according to Rotten Tomatoes' set visit report, Fanning is certainly bringing out the evil and eerie aspects out of the character:
"Fanning's eyes lit up. She turned her head towards Bella/Kristen Stewart, and gave a slight, cruel smile. Well, the hint of a smile, really. The tension was palpable; in that miniscule movement I was sold on Fanning ... and her ability to convey unadulterated malice."
Ooh, we can't wait to see Fanning as Jane. How about you?
