Fall TV 2013: 'Blacklist' star Megan Boone talks James Spader, Joe Carnahan and TV mysteries
NBC's "The Blacklist" is one of the flashiest new shows arriving this fall and could very well turn leading lady Megan Boone into a breakout star.
Fans at San Diego's Comic-Con International are about to get a taste of the new series with a special screening, but we spoke with Boone during NBC's upfront presentation back in May. Check out the video above to see what she told us about working opposite "Blacklist" star James Spader, the pilot's director Joe Carnahan ("The Grey," "The A-Team") and how much she knows about what's in store on the twist-filled action drama.
"Blacklist" stars Spader as Raymond Reddington, a former government operative turned most wanted criminal. He turns himself into the FBI and offers to help catch a terrorist -- on the condition that his only contact in the agency is a profiler (Boone) who is just out of the academy. It's set to premiere Sept. 23 at 10 p.m. ET on NBC (following "The Voice").
