It might be hard to believe, but "Family Guy" is in Season 12 and creator Seth MacFarlane shows no signs of slowing down. This time out, in "Finder's Keepers," Peter finds a treasure map on a restaurant place mat and the hunt is on.

Of course, he's an idiot so he shares the clues to find the treasure with the entire town, creating way too much competition, even within his own family. If there's anything to learn from "Family Guy," it's that the Griffins don't have much of a problem stabbing each other in the back, especially if the one getting stabbed is Meg ( Mila Kunis). She deserves it though, because Meg is awful. In the end Peter and Lois find the treasure, which is an expired coupon.

The episode's most genuine laugh out loud moment is the scene where Lois finds the treasure and the camera pulls back to see Peter has a gun trained on her, convinced she's going to cheat him out of whatever they find. It's an easy laugh, sure, but it worked.

The cutaways in the episode were largely forgettable, except for the one about "Back to The Future," which everyone should have wondered about at some point. Why wouldn't Marty's dad question why his son looks so much like that guy his wife tried desperately to hook up with in high school. They even gave the kid his name.

"Finder's Keepers" delivers what you'd expect from "Family Guy," with nothing too over the top to note it being a season premiere. Did you enjoy the episode? Sound off below in the comments.
