'Fashion Star's' Nicole Richie has loved many looks that the buyers haven't jumped on
"Fashion Star" is off and running on NBC, with the designers' winning looks each week swiftly selling out at the various retails of Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's and H&M. Mentor Nicole Richie says it's really fulfilling to watch these designers' dreams come true.
"I find the show to be very inspirational. I believe that it's always such a great feeling to watch people's dreams come true and if I can help them, then that's something I was right away on board for," says Richie. "[As a mentor], I'm just trying to get them to the best versions of themselves. I had a wonderful relationship with all of the designers."
Richie also can sympathize with the viewers at home who may see a look they are clamoring to buy, but the buyers on the show don't go for.
"There have been many [looks I want to buy], actually, and you'll see that more in the upcoming episodes," says Richie. "I think that at a certain point, all of America will see something walk down the runway that they think is fantastic and hearing the buyers' feedback about why they aren't putting it in their stores is really interesting and informative."
