Fergie leaving the Black Eyed Peas rumors are 'false,' says Will.i.am
Fergie might be pregnant, but that doesn't mean she's losing her job. Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am took to Twitter to shoot down rumors that Fergie is being replaced.
"The rumors on @fergie being replaced are so false @PerezHilton & @TMZNEWSS_ is the furthest from the truth #BEP4ever #fergieROCKS...#family," he tweeted.
It was Perez Hilton who first reported that the Peas were looking for a replacement for Fergie. A source told the outlet that the Black Eyed Peas were auditioning women to stand in for Fergie while she spends the next few years being a mom and creating a new solo album.
Fergie announced her pregnancy on Feb. 18, tweeting, "Josh & Me & BABY makes three! #mylovelybabybump." This is the first child for her and hubby Josh Duhamel.
