Fifth Harmony performs, talks Simon Cowell prank on 'Live with Michael and Kelly'Add to Favorites | The X Factor
The girls of Fifth Harmony were ready for some fun when they performed their new single, "Miss Movin' On" during Tuesday's (Oct. 22) episode of "Live with Kelly and Michael." Created during Season 2 of "The X Factor," the five singers also mentioned a prank they had played on judge Simon Cowell.
A single off their new album, "Better Together" (out in stores on this same day), "Miss Movin' On" turned out to be a peppy breakup song that was indeed well-harmonized. After Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan applauded the young performers, the audience got a peek at the group's birthday prank.
On Simon Cowell's 54th birthday (a couple of weeks earlier on Oct. 4), the girl band went over to the producer's Beverly Hills home -- and then they TPed the place. Because toilet paper all over the trees isn't bad enough, Fifth Harmony also left behind a banner that read, "Happy 87th Birthday Simon!"
Fifth Harmony came into being during "The X Factor," when Cowell decided that the five soloists would make a better group. Together, they made it all the way to third place. There has been no word over whether or not Simon would now destroy them for their prank. Obviously, he hasn't yet!
