Fiona Apple admitted hash and weed were hers before arrest, authorities say
The authorities are saying Apple was in possession of .01 lbs of marijuana and .01 lbs of hashish (concentrated cannabis), which were detected by a drug-sniffing dog. Apple "freely admitted that the controlled substances belonged to her and she was placed under arrest by U.S. Border Patrol agents and detained," according to the release.
Apple, who is on tour to promote her new album "The Idler Wheel...," spent the night in jail and was released on $10,000 bond.
According to Apple's official Facebook page, a show she had scheduled for tonight in Austin, Texas has been postponed: "New date TBD."
