A pilot episode for "Flash," the planned spinoff of The CW's "Arrow," will not film until the spring, but rumors about possible characters are already out there. The newest rumor concerns Vibe, aka Cisco Ramon.

Vibe is a character found in the DC Comics universe. He is a young man of Hispanic origins with vast expertise in mechanical engineering. According to Moviehole, the site that first announced the possible inclusion of the character, Vibe also has the ability to emit powerful shock waves.

It's not clear whether this would likely be a semi-supernatural gift -- like Barry Allen's speed -- or some sort of mechanical enhancement.

Should the character pop up in a TV version of "Flash," he will most likely undergo some changes -- "Arrow" has championed this, bringing in familiar comics characters in slightly altered forms. There is no word on casting or whether Vibe would be a regular, guest or recurring character on a potential series.

Grant Gustin originated the role of Barry -- the young man about to become the Flash -- in two episodes of "Arrow" Season 2 in December. The CW has ordered a pilot with a series dependent on that installment's success.
