FOX has canceled its sci-fi  series "Almost Human." The show will not return for a second season despite leaving a number of plot threads open at the end of Season 1.

Starring Karl Urban and Michael Ealy, "Almost Human" centered around two cops in the future, Urban a human and Ealy a robot, who fight crime together.

The show received mostly positive reviews (and lots of your love, too, seeing as how many Zap2it readers voted to keep "Almost Human"), and ratings were solid: Airing on Monday nights, episodes averaged a 2.9 rating among adults 18-49 and 8.9 million viewers in Live +7 ratings. Looks like that wasn't enough for FOX to grant a renewal.
