freaks-and-geeks-game.jpgIt's been 14 years since "Freaks and Geeks" began its all-too-brief run on TV. Thanks to the Internet, though, you can relive the show over and over again, all in the space of a few minutes.

YouTube auteurs The Fine Bros. have created a "Freaks and Geeks" interactive game that puts you at McKinley High circa 1980. It's rendered as retro-style video game and lets you play as Lindsay ( Linda Cardellini) as she navigates high school and figuring out who she really is with her new batch of friends.

If you want a cheat code, you'd be advised to follow Lindsay's story as it played out in the show. Going the other way, though, does lead down some amusing paths, many of them involving Nick ( Jason Segel) insisting he play "Lady L" for her. Plus you can always go back and start over.

The videos clearly come from people who are "F&G" fans, but they also poke some good-natured fun at the show and its roster of then up-and-coming, now well-established stars. You can start below, but a warning: Give yourself a good 15 or 20 minutes to play through the full game. You're not likely to want to stop.
