'Fred: The Movie' -- from YouTube to your tube

fred-the-movie-320.jpgNickelodeon brings one of the stars of YouTube to a bigger screen Saturday night (Sept. 18). Ladies and gentlemen, presenting "Fred: The Movie."

Fred Figglehorn -- aka teenager Lucas Cruikshank -- is one of the biggest stars in the YouTube universe. The Fred channel, chronicling the adventures of "a lonely 6-year-old,"  has close to 2 million subscribers, and his videos have been viewed a staggering 597 million times (as of this writing).

Nick is betting that a good number of those people -- along with its many young fans and their parents -- will tune in for "Fred: The Movie," which also stars "iCarly's" Jennette McCurdy as girl-next-door Bertha and Pixie Lott as the object of his affection, Judy.

The trailer for the movie and a clip featuring "The Office's" Oscar Nunez are below. What do you think of "Fred"? Let us know in the comments.
