'Friday Night Lights' alum joins 'Breaking Bad'; 'I Just Want My Pants Back' canceled

MTV half-hour comedy "I Just Want My Pants Back," which chronicles 22-year-old Jason and his friends as they navigate young adulthood, will not be returning for a second season, the network announced Tuesday. The slate of original programming at the former music network has grown quite large and there just wasn't room anymore for "Pants." [ Deadline]

ABC has announced the eight contestants and their famous partners for summer reality singing competition "Duets." The partners are: Bridget Carrington, 34, partnered with John Legend; Olivia Chisholm, 21, partnered with Robin Thicke; Jason Farol, 23, partnered with Kelly Clarkson; Alexis Foster, 21, partnered with Robin Thicke; John Glosson, 32, partnered with Jennifer Nettles; Johnny Gray, 37, partnered with John Legend; Jordan Meredith, 21, partnered with Kelly Clarkson; and J Rome, 25, partnered with Jennifer Nettles. Tia Mowry announced on Twitter that she is not returning to "The Game" on BET. ""Just wanted to let all my fans know that I will not be returning to The Game for season 6. It was an incredible run and I had lots of fun along the way. I am looking forward to my upcoming projects." [ Twitter]
