'Friday Night Lights' Season 5 preview: The goodbyes start early

"Friday Night Lights" final season is drawing mighty close -- Wednesday, Oct. 27, if it's not already marked on your calendar -- and DirecTV now has the first real look at what we'll get from the season premiere, "Expectations."

So what can we expect? A parting shot of Landry ( Jesse Plemmons), for one thing. The former Lion is heading out of Dillon until at least the series finale -- if not forever. Julie ( Aimee Teegarden) is also matriculating somewhere, but don't plan on the series regular going very far. Who'd look after little Gracie Bell?

There's also a whole lot of football, and it seems as though we won't have to suffer through another transition year. East Dillon is officially a force to be reckoned with. And look, Vince ( Michael B. Jordan) and Luke ( Matt Lauria) are buddies:
