'Full House' cast working on a 'twist on a sequel,' dissect 'You Oughta Know' on 'WWHL'
The men of "Full House" are, well, everywhere you look these days, as they promote their upcoming Super Bowl ad. Thursday (Jan. 30) they stopped by the "Watch What Happens Live" clubhouse and were joined by former co-star Candace Cameron in a surprise visit.
Here are some higlights:
Bob Saget confirms that Alanis Morissette's song "You Oughta Know" is about Dave Coulier and then shares this anecdote: "I was at his house and he said, 'Alanis just hung up on me and said, 'Sorry to call you during dinner.' I was at his house when she said that to him," referring to the line in the song about bugging him in the middle of dinner.
John Stamos on a "Full House" reunion: "The legacy is so important to us, every year it just gets deeper and more important to everybody, we just have to do it right. We've started working on a twist on a sequel but we don't know if it's going to happen yet or not."
Stamos on his chance at love with co-star Lori Loughlin: "We had great chemistry, we just had bad timing. She was married, then she got divorced, then there was about a week period that it could've happened, and then I met my ex and I went that way. But she's just the model of a perfect person, a beautiful person and we're still great friends. We just don't have sex, but we're great friends."
Below, listen to the anecdote about how Dave Coulier sent his underwear into the rafters at the studio where they shot and when Stamos was on "Friends" years later for a guest-starring role, they were still there. Hee!
